Job summary

Mr. Transmission/Milex Complete Auto Care in Durham, NC is seeking a Master Technician with strong electrical diagnostics and sensor testing skills. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain both domestic and import vehicles, using diagnostic scanners and a full tools set.

The position requires at least 5 years of experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to train junior technicians. ASE certifications are favored, and a safe, organized shop environment is maintained daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Master Technician preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience on domestic and import vehicles; ASE certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
• Removal, installation, and servicing of components.
• Assist in proper maintenance of shop and equipment.
• Continued personal update training, maintaining ASE certifications.
• Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer.
• Report any items that are out of stock to the Center Manager.
• Capable of assuming responsibility and training general technicians.
• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and repair in a timely manner.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Maintain a safe environment while keeping the customer's vehicle clean.
