Mr. Transmission/Milex Complete Auto Care of Greenville, SC is growing and we are hiring a self-motivated General Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring quality work the first time.

You will handle diagnosis, estimates, repairs on engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C, document repairs, and collaborate with service advisors while continually developing your skills through our training programs.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience as a technician (OEM or independent shop experience).
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and own basic automotive tool set.

Responsibilities

• Receive and carry out Repair Orders as dispatched.
• Perform diagnostic services and troubleshoot to determine repair needs.
• Provide labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services.
• Perform high-quality and efficient repair services for engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Perform quality control checks for repaired vehicles.
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation for repair services.
• Maintain an organized workspace and tools.
• Communicate with Service Advisors and Parts Department staff.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to develop expertise.

A General Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles.

Responsibilities include:

• Receive and carry out Repair Orders as dispatched
• Perform diagnostic services and troubleshoot to determine repair needs
• Provide labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services
• Perform high-quality and efficient repair services for various automotive systems, including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning, in accordance with center and factory standards
• Perform quality control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation for repair services
• Maintain an organized, clean workspace and accounting for dealership and personal tools at all times
• Communicate efficiently with Service Advisors and Parts Department employees
• Participate in ongoing training programs to develop expertise in industry-leading technologies and processes

Skills and Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of experience as a technician (OEM or independent shop experience)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License in applicable state and a good driving record
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Candidate must have their own basic automotive tool set
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Strong mechanical & electrical diagnostic aptitude and willingness to learn with ongoing training
• ASE Certifications are strongly desired
• Physical strength and stamina to perform required repairs
