Job Description

StretchLab is seeking massage therapists, personal trainers, physical therapists, and dance/yoga/Pilates instructors to join our team at our studio located in the Marketplace Shopping Center at the corner of 2nd & PCH in Long Beach. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain experience in a new modality gaining popularity in the fitness industry.

About the Role

As a Flexologist, you will provide one-on-one assisted stretching sessions, helping clients improve their flexibility and mobility. You will be part of a team dedicated to promoting health and wellness through innovative stretching techniques.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized assisted stretch sessions to clients
• Motivate and encourage clients during sessions
• Build and retain client membership
• Ensure client safety and proper technique adherence
• Participate in staff meetings and educational sessions
• Address member concerns as needed
• Assist with studio tours and sales activities
• Maintain equipment and studio cleanliness
• Follow COVID-19 safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Passion for boutique fitness, stretching, mobility, and flexibility
• Background in massage therapy, personal training, physical therapy, yoga, Pilates, or dance instructing is preferred
• Experience in a health or fitness environment with hands-on client training
• Certification in a relevant fitness or health field
• Excellent communication skills with empathetic approach
• Ability to create a welcoming environment for all clients
• Reliable work ethic and adherence to policies
• Completion of a three-part training program including online coursework, a two-day training, and 20 hours of supervised stretching (paid training)
