Overview

We are seeking an experienced massage therapist with a passion for wellness, exceptional service, and a commitment to delivering an unparalleled guest experience.

Responsibilities

1. Perform spa treatment services as outlined in spa treatment protocols.
2. Demonstrate a high level of guest service.
3. Participate in all spa treatment and service training programs.
4. Assist guests with home care program and products.
5. Communicate effectively with peers, management, line and front of the house employees.
6. Be courteous to all guests and coworkers.
7. Regularly attend meetings including daily communication, service, weekly staff meeting, and monthly department meetings.
8. Maintain all sanitation and HACCP documentation in accordance with California & DH&R health codes.
9. Practice effective listening (seek to understand).
10. Perform related duties as required.
11. Perform duties in a safe manner, routinely observing all safety procedures. Report accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
12. Be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property.
13. Stock and restock treatment rooms with necessary supplies.

Qualifications

1. Must be able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English.
2. Must have strong customer service skills.
3. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
4. Must possess the ability to implement and uphold high service standards.
5. Must have the ability to interact with all associates and resort guests.
6. Must have the ability to perform well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
7. Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.

Experience, Education, & Licensure:

1. A high school diploma is required.
2. Certificate of completion from a recognized massage program (minimum of 500 hours).
3. State of California Massage License.
4. Passing of MBLEX or NCBTMB test, per California Massage License Requirements.

Miscellaneous Skills:

1. Comprehension of SPASOFT software.

Compensation:

Base Pay Start Rate: $16.50/Hr.
