GrapeSeed Spa at South Coast Winery Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced Massage Therapist to deliver massage and body treatments following spa protocols and certifications. The role involves educating guests on wellness concerns, maintaining equipment, and promoting spa services.

The position requires flexibility in scheduling, adherence to sanitation standards, and active participation in trainings to support high-quality guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent professional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification process.
• Effectively inform and educate guests about specific wellness concerns.
• Be flexible with scheduling, supporting the needs of the spa.
• Care for equipment and use proper product amounts as indicated on service protocols to assist with cost controls.
• Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
• Uphold sanitation and sterilization standards as directed by law and spa policies.
• Perform prep work, clean and restock rooms as required.
• Communicate incidents involving staff or guests to management for attention.
• Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, and retail; promote programs and discounts.
• Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Provide accurate, immediate responses to all guest requests.
• Work without direct supervision and maintain a positive attitude.

• Perform prep work, properly clean and restock rooms as required.
• Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guest incidents that require attention.
• Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, and retail. Promote programs, promotions and discounts available.
• Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests.
• Possess the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
• Regularly attend, participate in and support trainings and staff meetings for the spa.
• Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
