Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Massage Therapist for a seasonal role (October 2026 – May 2027). The position offers an hourly rate of $9.00 plus commission, including 45% on massage services, 10% on retail, and 100% gratuities. Duties include delivering professional massage and body treatments to members and guests.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of massage experience and an Arizona license. CPR certification is preferred and must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a massage therapist.
• Arizona State Board Massage Therapy license required.
• CPR certification preferred but required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests and provide exceptional service.
• Perform deep tissue, Swedish, Shiatsu, hot stone, Thai, and sports massage as requested.
• Consult with member/guest to assess needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and adhere to health rules.

Season: October 2026 – May 2027

In this role, you will provide a relaxing and stress-free environment performing professional, therapeutic and rejuvenating massage and body treatments to members and guests.

The ideal candidate will be a professional with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for delivering exceptional experiences. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a massage therapist and a valid Arizona State Board Massage Therapy license are required. Prior experience in a country club or resort environment is a plus. CPR certification preferred but required within 60 days of hire.

Job Details Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a genuine, courteous, and service-oriented manner and provide exceptional service through name recognition, anticipating needs, and exceeding expectations.
• Perform requested or suggested massage techniques including, but not limited to, deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, Shiatsu, hot stone therapy, Thai massage, and/or sports massage.
• Conduct all treatments according to treatment guidelines.
• Build rapport and consult with member or guest to assess their expectations, inquire about physical well-being, and attend to immediate needs throughout their visit.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times with an emphasis on safety and health rules & regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Required to work, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Required to stand for long periods of time.
• Must have necessary arm, hand, and finger strength and dexterity to provide massages.
