Job summary

Absolute Hospice is seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to provide compassionate hospice massage on a PRN basis in the Caldwell, Cambridge, and Zanesville areas of Ohio. You will tailor massage for comfort, promote relaxation, and support patients and families during a meaningful time of care.

Requirements include an active massage license and 1+ year of clinical experience; home health or hospice exposure is preferred. You will join a caring hospice team dedicated to comfort and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current state license, certification, or registration as a Massage Therapist in good standing.
• At least one year of clinical massage therapy experience; two years preferred.
• Home health or hospice experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

As a Hospice Massage Therapist, you will have the opportunity to use your skills to bring comfort, relaxation, and relief to patients during an important time in their lives. Your work can help ease discomfort, promote a sense of well-being, and improve quality of life for patients and their families.

What You’ll Do

Provide therapeutic massage services tailored to the individual comfort needs of hospice patients.

Help promote relaxation, comfort, and an improved sense of well-being.

Create a safe, caring, and respectful environment for every patient.

Develop and organize appropriate massage therapy services based on prescribed care and patient needs.

Collaborate with the hospice care team to support each patient's comfort and quality of life.
