Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Massage Therapist to provide personalized spa treatments and guest experiences in our upscale facility.

You will perform Swedish, Sports, Aromatherapy, Thai, Shiatsu, Reflexology, and Reiki therapies, while ensuring room readiness and supply stocking. A valid Alabama license is required; the role emphasizes guest care, cleanliness, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Licensed Alabama massage therapist with active license.
• Ability to perform Swedish massage and other modalities.
• Positive, guest-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in a wide range of massage therapies (Swedish, Sports, Aromatherapy, Thai, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Reiki).
• Perform daily setup and breakdown of the massage room and maintain supplies.
• Deliver Swedish massages of varying durations (50, 80, 110 minutes) with proper draping.
• Create a compassionate and welcoming guest experience.
• Understand treatment presentations and procedures.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and post-treatment relaxation.
• Assist with operational tasks like restocking supplies and cleaning when not massaging.
• Value punctuality for guest satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Demonstrate proficiency in a wide range of massage therapies, including Swedish, Sports, Aromatherapy, Thai, Shiatsu, Reflexology, and Reiki. Possess knowledge of hydrotherapy and body treatments.
• Perform daily setup and breakdown of the massage room, ensuring cleanliness and proper stocking of supplies.
• Deliver comprehensive Swedish massages of varying durations (50, 80, or 110 minutes) while adhering to professional draping techniques.
• Exhibit a compassionate personality and genuine concern for the well-being of guests.
• Possess a thorough understanding of treatment presentations and procedures.
• Provide each guest with a fully satisfying experience, leaving them feeling refreshed and revitalized.
• Take responsibility for operational tasks during periods when not engaged in treatments, such as restocking supplies and linens, handling laundry items, performing general and specific cleaning, and any other necessary tasks to maintain spa efficiency.
• Recognize the importance of punctuality and its impact on overall guest satisfaction.

A current and valid Alabama Massage Therapy License is required for this position. Candidates must be licensed to practice massage therapy in the State of Alabama prior to employment.
