Job summary

The NOW in Mount Pleasant is seeking qualified massage therapists to provide therapeutic massage services. You will inspire clients by using various modalities and ensure that your service room meets high standards.

Qualifications

Job description

Schedule / Expected Work Hours

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Availability for at least one PM shift and one weekend shift (Friday PM counts as a weekend shift).
• Full‑ and Part‑time positions available.

Responsibilities

• Share the healing power of touch to inspire and transform clients through the benefits of massage therapy.
• Provide therapeutic massage using a variety of modalities (Prenatal, Sports, Stretching Techniques, etc.).
• Maintain the service room to standards; all supplies are provided.
• Consideration for qualified candidates beginning their careers in massage therapy who possess the right qualities and innate talent for therapeutic massage.

Qualifications

• Desire to be part of a team with a passion for health and wellness.
• License/certification required in state of practice; must present license/certificate during the interview and maintain it throughout employment.
• Knowledge of Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and other modalities.
• Availability during prime earning potential periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand and move for up to six hours; may vary from day to day.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, stretch, and perform room‑resetting tasks; requires manual dexterity, visual acuity, and hearing.
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate necessary equipment.
