The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort is seeking an experienced esthetician to provide facial and waxing services for guests in our spa. You will assess client needs, document skin analyses, and deliver high-quality treatments with a focus on confidentiality and customer care.

Applicants should have a valid cosmetology or esthetician license and at least two years of experience. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within HEI Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications

• Current state cosmetology or Esthetician license is required.
• Minimum of two years’ esthetics experience.
• Knowledge of latest esthetic techniques, equipment, services and products.
• Excellent client confidentiality and discretion.
• Strong customer service and communication with clients and staff.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests in a professional, friendly manner and tailor spa treatments to client needs.
• Perform facials, waxing and other esthetic services per training and draping protocols.
• Review client intake forms and document skin analysis and product recommendations.
• Create a positive guest experience with therapeutic touch and courtesy.
• Educate guests on treatment benefits and maintenance frequency.
• Protect client information and maintain professional boundaries.
• Maintain clean appearance and adhere to dress and hygiene standards.
• Adhere to attendance and schedule requirements; perform other duties as assigned.

Responsible for communicating and transcribing all information regarding guest medical history, services performed, skin analysis and product recommendations into the Spa Computer System.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGreet guests and members in a professional, friendly manner.Select the appropriate spa treatments based on the client’s needs after reviewing the client intake form with each guest.Perform spa treatments within the scope of training and utilizing draping protocols.Complete accurate and legible client intake notes.Create an excellent experience for guests and members through a therapeutic touch and friendly attitude.Promote the health and wellness benefits of spa treatments specific to each client and recommend frequency of services.Safeguard client information and confidentiality.Execute professional boundaries and do not engage in dual relationships with clients.Maintain a professional clean appearance of self and clinic by wearing a clean and pressed uniform, following the table dressing and draping protocols, and keeping the therapy room clean.Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.Qualifications and SkillsCurrent state cosmetology or Esthetician’s license.High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of two years’ experience in esthetics.In-depth knowledge of the latest esthetic industry techniques, equipment, services, and products.Willing to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality regarding guests and staff.Customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients, clinic management, fellow therapists, and sales staff.Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push carts up to 50lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.Good dexterity in fingers, wrists, and hands with or without reasonable accommodation.Ability to stand and move throughout spa and continuously perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.Effective verbal and written communication skills.
