Job summary

Westin Beach Resort Fort Lauderdale is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Associate to maintain spotless guest rooms and common areas. You will clean bathrooms, make beds, dust furnishings, and restock supplies while ensuring guest safety and comfort.

The role requires physical stamina and teamwork to support hotel operations. We value strong communication with guests and colleagues and encourage a collaborative, guest‑centric environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floors using appropriate cleaning agents.
• Strip and remake beds, change linens up to 50 lbs.
• Dust all furniture, window ledges, and shelves; push and pull vacuum across rooms.
• Restock amenities, linens, and supplies; manage room key sign-off and restocking.
• Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and safety; report any issues to supervisor.
• Attend to other related duties as assigned by hotel management.

NoOverviewMaintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesClean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
