Overview

Provide guests with treatments as advertised by the spa and deliver excellent guest service to support the property and brand positioning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform scheduled massages according to policies, procedures, and brand standards.
2. Stock and ensure cleanliness of massage rooms and equipment.
3. Provide high-level guest service at all times.
4. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
5. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
6. Instruct guests on treatment procedures and prepare them for treatments following standards.
7. Review intake questions with guests before services, maintaining professionalism and friendliness.
8. Follow the Spa Department policies and procedures.
9. Provide courteous, sincere, and enthusiastic service to all guests.
10. Follow the spa’s draping policy at all times.
11. Restock massage rooms with supplies as needed.
12. Perform massages and body treatments professionally and timely.
13. Willingness to train or perform all relevant services.
14. Know and understand all products used in treatments.
15. Recommend retail products, promote other spa services, and suggest future appointments.
16. Attend continuing education to stay updated.
17. Participate in group demonstrations and meetings.
18. Assist in other spa areas as needed.
19. Keep work areas clean, neat, and stocked.
20. Fill out supply lists promptly.
21. Maintain a well-groomed appearance and clean uniform.
22. Follow resort safety standards at all times.
23. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform 6-8 hours of massage daily.
• Perform deep tissue work involving thumbs, elbows, shoulders.
• Support others’ body weight, stand, walk, balance, climb stairs, twist, reach, and perform manual dexterity tasks.
• Engage in planning, listening, speaking, and observing with attention to detail.
