Job description

We are seeking licensed and experienced Massage Therapists and Aestheticians to join our resort spa team as subcontractors. In this role, you will provide a variety of therapeutic massage and aesthetic treatments to resort guests, following specific product protocols and delivering an exceptional guest experience. You will work independently while adhering to the resort's standards and product-specific guidelines, ensuring a consistent, high-quality service for every guest.

Key Responsibilities:

Massage Therapist Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality therapeutic massage services including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, and other specialized treatments tailored to the needs of the guest.
Follow resort-specific product protocols by using branded oils, lotions, and other massage tools provided by the resort spa. Ensure that each treatment is carried out according to product guidelines and standards.
Consult with guests to assess their needs, customizing each session to address their specific goals (e.g., stress relief, muscle tension, relaxation).
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the massage room, sanitizing all equipment and linens between sessions according to resort protocols.
Document guest treatment preferences and progress, ensuring client records are updated for future visits.
Follow safety and hygiene standards as outlined by the resort and relevant health authorities.
Provide aftercare advice to guests, recommending appropriate homecare or additional services.

Aesthetician Responsibilities:

Perform skin treatments such as facials, exfoliation, waxing, and body wraps, using resort-approved products and equipment that meet resort standards.
Adhere to product-specific protocols for all treatments, including using branded skincare lines provided by the resort, and ensuring the proper application and technique for optimal results.
Consult with guests to understand their skin concerns and provide customized treatments that align with their skincare needs.
Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the treatment room, following resort guidelines for disinfecting tools and equipment.
Provide skin care advice and aftercare instructions, helping guests maintain their results after the treatment.
Update guest records with treatment details and preferences to personalize future visits.
General Responsibilities for Both Positions:

Guest Experience: Provide exceptional guest service by ensuring each guest receives a memorable, relaxing, and rejuvenating experience.
Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of resort-specific products and protocols, ensuring the correct use of all products and treatments.
Collaboration with Team Members: Work closely with other spa staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination of treatments, appointments, and guest needs.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all treatments and practices comply with health and safety regulations, including cleanliness, sanitation, and safety protocols.
Promote Resort Offerings: Assist in promoting spa packages, exclusive treatments, and resort promotions to enhance the guest experience and drive sales.

Compensation:

50/50 Split: Subcontractors will receive 50% of the revenue from each service rendered.
15% Commission on Retail Sales: Earn a 15% commission on retail products sold to each guest during appointment.
Flexible hours: Set your own schedule based on resort occupancy and guest demand.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a luxury resort or spa setting.
Knowledge of specialty product lines and advanced treatment protocols.
Experience with guest-facing technology, such as booking systems or spa software, to manage appointments and guest preferences.
