Job summary

Prairie Health & Wellness Movement Center in Wichita is seeking a licensed massage therapist to join a collaborative team of healthcare professionals. The role focuses on a holistic approach to patient care and stress relief, aligned with our multi-discipline Movement Center.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 to 5:00, with a choice of a 4- or 5-day workweek and opportunities for ongoing education within a supportive clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Valid and current massage therapy license.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a massage therapist.
• Experience with Cerbo, Bamboo HR and Nextcloud.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine specific needs and tailored massage treatments.
• Provide a wide range of services: deep tissue, Swedish, sports, neuromuscular, hot stone, etc.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Communicate effectively with clients about their treatment plans and any potential side effects or risks.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and treatment plans.
• Keep a clean and organized treatment room, including laundry and equipment maintenance.
• Attend and participate in team meetings and continuing education opportunities.
• Adhere to all state and local regulations and guidelines for massage therapy.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Maintain impeccable written and verbal communication with teammates and patients


• A valid and current massage therapy license.


• Minimum of two years of experience working as a massage therapist.


• Ability to quickly get up-to-speed on internal software (Cerbo, Bamboo HR, Nextcloud)


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
