Position Overview: As a Massage Therapist at Parkland Golf and Country Club, you will be responsible for delivering professional massage therapy services to club members and guests in a relaxing and rejuvenating spa environment. Your role will involve providing customized treatments to address the unique needs and preferences of each individual client, contributing to their overall wellness and relaxation experience.

Paid hourly plus commission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Massage Therapy Sessions: Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, and hot stone massage, among others, based on client preferences and therapeutic objectives.
  • Client Communication and Education: Conduct thorough client assessments to identify areas of tension, discomfort, and muscle tightness, tailoring treatments to address specific concerns. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their health history, preferences, and treatment goals. Provide guidance and recommendations for self-care practices and lifestyle modifications to enhance the benefits of massage therapy between sessions. Educate clients about the various massage techniques available and their potential therapeutic effects.
  • Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including intake forms, treatment notes, and progress reports. Manage appointment scheduling and client communications efficiently, ensuring timely responses and follow-up. Process payments and maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with established protocols.
  • Professional Development: Stay informed about current trends, advancements, and best practices in the field of massage therapy through ongoing education and professional development opportunities. Obtain and maintain all necessary licenses, certifications, and credentials required to practice massage therapy in accordance with state or local regulations.
  • Professional Conduct: Adhere to high standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and club staff. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming spa environment for clients, adhering to sanitation and hygiene protocols at all times. Foster positive relationships with club members and guests by delivering exceptional service and personalized care.
