Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled massage therapist to join Waterleaf Spa at Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, WA. The role involves delivering exceptional wellness experiences to guests in a resort setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality massage therapy and other body treatments to guests.
• Adapt techniques to meet individual guest needs, including sports and prenatal skills.
• Maintain a clean and orderly treatment room in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Assist guests and coordinators with product knowledge and sales, and complete required training.
• Work collaboratively with the spa team to ensure continuous provider availability, including backing up for walk‑in appointments.

Qualifications

• Licensed massage therapist in the State of Washington or reciprocal license from another state.
• Proficiency in varied massage techniques; training will be provided for body treatments.
• Excellent customer‑service and communication skills.
• Consistent, efficient performance and reliable attendance.
• CPR certification (employer will provide renewal training).

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand for extended periods (up to 6‑8 hours per day) and lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly, performing the physical tasks required for massage therapy.

Scheduling Requirements

Providers must stay clocked‑in during business hours when a provider is scheduled, allowing for walk‑in appointments. Full‑time providers may work additional hours and receive a base wage plus commission and tips. During June‑September, consistent weekly hours are expected.

Compensation

Pay averages $60.13 – $79.13 per massage plus tips. Base rate is $17.13 per hour plus commission ranging from $43.00 to $62.00 per massage, dependent on massage type.
