Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Massage Therapist for The Flamingo Resort & Spa in California. Deliver professional massage services to guests and members, following spa protocols and guest preferences while ensuring safety and satisfaction.

Opportunity to work in a renowned hospitality setting with ongoing training and growth potential. The position requires a California massage license, 500 hours of education, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid Massage Therapy license or certification in the state of California.
  • Minimum 500 hours of massage therapy education from an accredited school.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience preferred, ideally in a spa, resort, or wellness center.

Responsibilities

  • Perform massage and body treatments (Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, etc.).
  • Consult with clients to understand needs and medical concerns.
  • Customize sessions based on guest needs and preferences.
  • Maintain clean, organized treatment rooms and equipment.
  • Adhere to safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Promote spa services and wellness offerings.
  • Keep accurate treatment records.

What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do

The Massage Therapist is responsible for delivering professional, therapeutic, and rejuvenating massage treatments to guests and members in accordance with spa protocols and guest preferences. This position ensures the highest level of customer service, safety, and satisfaction while maintaining a clean, stocked, and professional work environment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Perform various massage and body treatments, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, and specialty services, as trained and certified.
  • Consult with clients to understand their needs, expectations, and any medical concerns or contraindications.
  • Customize massage sessions based on individual guest needs and preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and common areas before, during, and after each service.
  • Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards, including proper cleaning and sterilization of tools and linens.
  • Promote spa services and wellness offerings to guests when appropriate.
  • Keep accurate treatment records and client notes in accordance with spa standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to enhance skills and stay current with industry trends.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all guest and proprietary information.
  • Arrive on time for shifts and appointments and ensure the schedule is managed efficiently.

Compensation: base salary + commission, and including gratuity.

What are we looking for?
Qualifications
  • Must hold a current and valid Massage Therapy license or certification in the state of California (or applicable state).
  • Minimum 500 hours of massage therapy education from an accredited school.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience preferred, ideally in a spa, resort, or wellness center.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
