Responsibilities

• Greets visitors to the salon in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Administers client health history and release forms.
• Evaluates client health history for contraindications.
• Discusses client needs, expectations and past massage experience prior to service.
• Performs massages using modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Therapeutic, Reflexology and Shiatsu.
• Provides explanations of techniques and limitations to clients when needed.
• Maintains professional service-oriented demeanor.
• Regular attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Entrada Wellness Center, located in St. George, UT, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a
Massage Therapist! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

General Purpose:

Performs massage therapy on clients utilizing various modalities and assures the enjoyment and satisfaction of salon patrons

Essential Duties:

• Greets visitors to the salon in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Administers client’s health history and release forms to all new clients.
• Evaluates client’s health history by asking pertinent questions to become aware if contraindications exist.
• Discusses client’s needs, expectations and past experience with massage prior to performing the service.
• Performs various types of massages on clients utilizing different modalities including but not limited to: Swedish, Deep tissue, Sports, Therapeutic, Reflexology and Shiatsu.
• Provides educated explanation of massage techniques used or referral to a physician) while noting that a massage therapist can not prescribe or diagnose a client’s condition.
• Maintains professional service-oriented demeanor.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

• Certificate from college, technical school or accredited facility; and three to six months related experience and/or training

Physical Demands:

• Frequently uses hands, reaches with hands and arms, talks, hears, stands and walks. Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, tastes or smells. Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds

Environment/Noise:

• Occasionally works in hot, wet or humid conditions (non-weather). Noise level is moderate.

Certificates/Licenses:

• Current State Massage Therapist license and other creditable certificates, CPR and First Aid Certificatio

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
