Overview

Provide guests with treatments as advertised by the spa and deliver excellent guest service to support the property and brand positioning.

Compensation includes commission, service charge, and hourly meeting/training pay.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Greet guests and members in a professional, friendly manner.
2. Select appropriate spa treatments based on client needs after reviewing intake forms.
3. Perform spa treatments within scope of training, following draping protocols.
4. Complete accurate and legible client intake notes.
5. Create an excellent experience through therapeutic touch and friendly attitude.
6. Promote health and wellness benefits of treatments and recommend service frequency.
7. Safeguard client information and maintain confidentiality.
8. Maintain professional boundaries and avoid dual relationships.
9. Keep a professional appearance and maintain cleanliness of the therapy room.
10. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
11. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Current state cosmetology or Esthetician’s license.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. Minimum of two years’ experience in esthetics.
4. Knowledge of latest esthetic techniques, equipment, services, and products.
5. Maintain confidentiality regarding guests and staff.
6. Customer service oriented with effective communication skills.
7. Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, up to 50 lbs.
8. Good dexterity and physical ability to perform job functions.
9. Effective verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
