Job summary

LMR Technical Group seeks a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team and support fighter aircrew through targeted massage therapy and prehabilitation. You will assess musculoskeletal needs, deliver preventive care, and collaborate with military health stakeholders in a structured program. Candidates must hold MT certification, maintain licensure, and possess CPR/AED certification.

Eligibility for a Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Active massage therapy license/certification in US jurisdiction.
• Experience working with professional or collegiate athletes or equivalent.
• CPR certification including AED training.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Secret security clearance (T3).
• U.S. citizenship required for clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver massage therapy as part of a prehabilitation program for fighter aircrew.
• Evaluate MSK conditions and provide preventive therapy to reduce neck/back injuries.
• Communicate findings and provide health maintenance education to stakeholders.

LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a Massage Therapist to join our team.

Location:

Eielson AFB, AK

Job Description:

The Massage Therapist (MT) must possess and maintain an active, current, and unrestricted license or certification from the US jurisdiction where the service is to be provided. MTs provide prehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions in fighter aircrew. As such, the MT shall evaluate and provide massage therapy to fighter aircrew personnel as part of a prehabilitation program. Prehabilitation is intended to strengthen core musculoskeletal (MSK) system to enhance resistance to neck and back injury. Also, healthy lifestyle education is addressed as part of an overall health maintenance program to enhance injury resistance. Such massage therapy as part of an overall program, focusing on neck and back pain, will improve the overall quality of life for fighter aircrew.

Requirements:

• MT will have graduated from a MT certification program. The MT will maintain a license or certification from a U.S. state.
• MT must have experience working with professional and/or collegiate athletes, or equivalent.
• Possess current certification in basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to include Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training.

• Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain Secret security clearance.

Other:

• Possess oral and written communication skills in order to meaningfully interact with peers, outside agencies, vendors providers and Military Health System (MHS) stakeholders to provide briefings, presentations, research, and develop metrics to demonstrate or advance effective and efficient neck and back pain prevention.
