Minimum Essential Job Requirements

1. Evaluate, treat clients, and complete appropriate documentation professionally and promptly.
2. Communicate with therapists and physicians regarding treatment and patient progress.
3. Manage multiple clients and invest in their wellness.
4. Maintain knowledge of client management software and related computer tools.
5. Participate in professional development and maintain affiliations.
6. Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and practice guidelines.
7. Maintain Massage Therapy license in Tennessee.
8. Build and sustain a clientele.
9. Collaborate with Facility Managers to improve the Massage Therapy Program.
10. Implement massage therapy processes with colleagues.
11. Participate in recruitment and training as needed.
12. Submit accurate and timely tip reports.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

1. Work may be remote per company policies.
2. Requires full range of motion, manual dexterity, and good coordination.
3. Prolonged standing, sitting, and walking are expected.
4. Must occasionally lift up to 30 pounds and up to 50 pounds at times.
5. Must withstand physical and emotional stress.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

1. Current Massage Therapy certification from an accredited program.
2. License to practice in Tennessee.
3. Preferably two years of healthcare setting experience.
4. Knowledge of human anatomy and orthopedic conditions.
5. Experience in therapeutic and relaxation massage.
6. Experience with orthopedic physicians and physical therapists.
7. Motivated, quick learner, and flexible availability.
8. Effective communication skills and professional appearance.
