Role Description

The Massage Therapist will provide high-quality therapeutic and body massage services to support pain relief, stress reduction, and overall wellness for a diverse client base. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client intake and assessment, recommending appropriate massage techniques, maintaining a clean and safe treatment environment, and documenting services in accordance with clinic policies. The role involves collaborating with acupuncturists and other wellness practitioners to deliver coordinated care and explaining treatment plans in a clear, professional manner. This is a full-time, on-site position based at Five Element Wellness Center in Coral Springs, FL, and may include evening or weekend shifts depending on client demand.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage skills, with the ability to tailor techniques to individual client needs.
• Candidates should possess practical experience in Shiatsu or related Eastern massage modalities, or be willing to learn and integrate these techniques.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, including professional communication, empathy, and the ability to build client trust and retention.
• Candidates should possess Stress Management skills, including the ability to support client relaxation and provide guidance on wellness practices.
• Valid state massage therapy license in Florida and completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
• Knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for massage, with a commitment to client safety and ethical practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary wellness team and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment.
• CPR/First Aid certification and prior experience in a medical, spa, or wellness center setting are beneficial.
