Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Part Time Massage Therapist to support employees at the Health Center in El Segundo, CA. The role is scheduled for 16 hours per week, Tue and Thu from 9:00 to 17:00.

You will provide medical and traditional massage tailored to member needs and help develop treatment plans in coordination with healthcare providers. Applicants must hold CAMTC licensure (CA) or NCBTMB certification, CPR certification, and have at least one year of massage experience.

Qualifications

• CA CAMTC license or NCBTMB certification required
• CPR certification with hands-on training (AHA/ARC/BLS) required
• Minimum of one year massage therapy work experience
• Membership with ABMP and/or AMTA preferred
• Continuing education in advanced neuromuscular techniques preferred

As a Part Time Massage Therapist, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in El Segundo, CA. The scheduled hours are 16 hours per week; Tuesday and Thursday 9-5.

What You’ll Do

• Perform medical and traditional massage based on the members needs
• T reat specific areas of injury, pain, systemic discomfort, decreased range of motion, and neurological issues from acute or chronic conditions
• Evaluates conditions, formulates treatment plan, and collaborates with providers when performing medical massage
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Documentation of state license/registration (e.g. copy of actual license, verification of license, or email including license number as applicable); CA - California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC) certification OR the following states require National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) in lieu of state license: KS, MN, VT, WY.
• Professional membership with the American Massage Therapy Association and/or the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) preferred
• Current CPR certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC, or Basic Life Support for community/lay responder required
• Continuing education in advanced neuromuscular and myofascial techniques preferred
• Demonstrate a high level of massage proficiency, with a minimum of one year massage therapy work experience

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $35.02 - $43.78 per hour. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
