Position Summary

The Massage Therapist provides various massage therapy services and treatments that complement fitness programs, improve overall well-being, and enhance the guest's fitness experience while living the mission, vision, and core values of LifeSpa and Salon. They build relationships with other departments, educate on massage therapy benefits, design sessions around guests' needs, and suggest massage schedules for recurring sessions. They collaborate with the entire LifeSpa and Salon team to deliver a superior experience in a professional atmosphere.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and service members in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide individualized massage therapy services that meet clients' needs and expectations
• Develop and maintain personalized relationships with clients
• Educate clients on LifeSpa and Salon products, services, and treatments
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of LifeSpa and Salon
• Serve as an expert in muscle and body analysis and maintenance regimens
• Promote and sell massage therapy services and treatments, encouraging repeat business
• Stay current on certifications and industry trends

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Massage Therapy License
• Ability to perform all types of massage therapy services and treatments
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, and proportions
• Knowledge of basic PC operations
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, lift, and move up to 50 pounds

Preferred Requirements

• 2 years of massage experience in a professional environment
• Knowledge of body treatments
• Experience with Salon Biz
