Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Part Time Massage Therapist to care for our client employees at the Health Center in Colorado Springs, CO. The role offers flexibility, roughly 12 hours per week, with potential Tuesday–Wednesday mornings and Thursday afternoons.

You will perform medical and traditional massage based on member needs, work with providers, and maintain a professional license (state license and CPR). Competitive pay and benefits are included for PRN and part-time team members.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a massage therapist in the state of practice.
• CPR certification with hands-on evaluation.
• NCBTMB certification preferred.
• Continuing education in advanced techniques preferred.
• One year massage therapy work experience.

As a Part Time Massage Therapist, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Colorado Springs, CO. The scheduled hours are f lexibility between M-F estimated 12 hrs a week, possible schedule: Tuesday - Wednesday 8am-12pm Thursday 1-5pm.

What You’ll Do

• Perform medical massage and traditional massage based on the members needs
• Treat specific areas of injury, pain systemic discomfort, decreased range of motion, neurological issues that can occur from acute or chronic conditions
• If performing medical massage the therapist must be able to access the condition, treat the involved areas and formulate a treatment plan
• When performing the medical massage the therapist will work closely with providers
• May require other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Licensed as a massage therapist in the state of practice
• Certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) preferred
• Professional membership with the American Massage Therapy Association and/or the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) preferred
• CPR Certification must include “hands on” evaluation of skills by the trainer/instructor
• Total on-line courses will not be accepted. Course must also meet the American Heart Association (AHA) standards but need not be an AHA certificate
• Continuing education in advanced neuromuscular and myofascial techniques preferred
• Demonstrate a high level of massage proficiency, with a minimum of one year massage therapy work experience

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $28.00 - $33.00 per hour. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.

For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise employees accrue paid sick leave at a rate of 0.03333 hours per hour worked.
