The Massage Studio in Cincinnati, Ohio, seeks a skilled massage therapist to consult with clients and provide tailored massage treatments. You will be responsible for developing treatment plans, maintaining client records, and performing various massage techniques to address medical conditions and wellness.

Candidates should have experience in a therapeutic environment, with proficiency in Swedish and deep tissue massage. A professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a spa, therapeutic environment or chiropractor preferred.
• Proficient knowledge and skill of Swedish, deep tissue and prenatal massage.
• Ability to keep a well-groomed and professional appearance.

About us. We are a locally owned "boutique-sized" studio located just off Hyde Park square. Experience a tranquil and easy-going work environment. Earn up to $50 per hour, CEU reimbursement, vacation time after one year, and a schedule that supports career longevity. We are not a chain.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to determine massage modality
• Develop and propose client treatment plans
• Massage muscles and soft tissue for medical conditions, injuries or wellness
• Maintain treatment records
• Basic checkout of client in Boulevard
• Light laundry as needed

Qualifications

• Experience working in a spa, therapeutic environment or chiropractor preferred
• Proficient knowledge and skill of Swedish, deep tissue and prenatal massage
• Knowledge in trigger point, sports, myofascial or neuromuscular a plus
• Great interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment
• Dexterous and able to stand for extended periods
• Ability to keep a well-groomed and professional appearance
• Perform massages on diverse clients
