Job summary

Methuen Construction is seeking a Pipefitter for full-time work on NE projects. This role requires a Massachusetts Unrestricted Pipefitters License and 1–3+ years of construction experience.

You will install and align piping systems, weld process piping, fabricate spool pieces, and support instrumentation piping on active job sites while adhering to safety standards. Qualifications

• MA pipefitter license(s) required.
• 1–3+ years of construction industry experience.
• High School or Vocational Training completed.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on an active construction site.
• Strong safety mindset and teamwork ability.

Responsibilities

• Bolt up and alignment of flanged piping systems.
• Installation of gaskets.
• Layout of various piping systems.
• Bevel and groove ductile iron and steel pipe.
• Welding of process piping systems.
• Cutting and fabrication of spool pieces.
• Sweating/soldering piping (non-potable water).
• Threading/cutting pipe.
• Glue and assemble plastic piping.
• Cut/fuse and assemble PVDF piping.
• Beveling, cutting, fitting associated with piping prior to welding.
• Installation of small diameter tubing for instrumentation and controls.
• Installation of prefabricated or pre-manufactured pipe supports including anchors for same.
