Job summary

Methuen Construction is seeking a Pipefitter to install and maintain piping systems on our projects in the Northeast. This full-time, hourly non-exempt role requires a Massachusetts Unrestricted Pipefitters License and 1–3+ years in construction.

You will perform piping layout, welding, fittings, and assembly, with comprehensive site safety and teamwork. Benefits include health plans, retirement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School or Vocational and or relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 1-3+ years of experience within the construction industry.
• MA pipefitter license(s).

Responsibilities

• Bolt up and alignment of flanged piping systems.
• Installation of gaskets.
• Layout of various piping systems.
• Bevel and grove ductile iron and steel pipe.
• Welding of process piping systems.
• Cutting and fabrication of spool pieces.
• Sweating/soldering piping (non-potable water).
• Threading/cutting pipe.
• Glue and assemble plastic piping.
• Cut/fuse and assemble PVDF piping.
• Beveling, cutting, fitting associated with piping prior to welding.
• Installation of small diameter tubing for instrumentation and controls.
• Installation of prefabricated or pre-manufactured pipe supports including anchors for same.
