Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Mass Tort Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team across multiple U.S. offices, including Boston, Chicago, Orlando, Tampa, and Washington, D.C. This role focuses on complex civil litigation and multidistrict matters.

You will draft pleadings, manage discovery, coordinate trial preparation, mentor junior staff, and contribute to strategy for high-stakes mass tort matters. JD required; admission to a U.S. state bar preferred.

Qualifications

• JD degree required.
• Admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
• Experience in complex litigation preferred.
• Experience mentoring and supervising others preferred.
• Experience using CM/ECF, PACER, Westlaw, and Litify.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute litigation strategy for mass tort matters.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings and substantive motions.
• Manage discovery and ensure compliance with case management orders.
• Monitor MDL/coordinated proceedings developments.
• Provide direction to paralegals and case managers on litigation tasks.
• Support settlement and resolution efforts.

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mass Tort Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in Boston, Massachusetts; Chicago, Illinois; Orlando, Florida; Tampa, Florida; or Washington, District of Columbia. The Associate will manage various litigation responsibilities, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and supporting trial preparation.

Duties

• Develop and execute litigation strategy for mass tort matters.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings and substantive motions.
• Ensure compliance with case management and scheduling orders.
• Monitor and implement developments in MDL/coordinated proceedings.
• Provide direction to paralegals and case managers on litigation tasks.
• Identify and develop liability and damages proof.
• Assess and recommend appropriate venue and jurisdiction for filing.
• Support settlement and resolution efforts.

Requirements
