Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree required in relevant field.
• Department: H12 – College of Liberal Arts & Science; Primary department: H1205 – Chemistry.
• Full-time regular employee in the Research category.

Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize mass spectrometry methodologies; train users and oversee day-to-day operations.
• Manage targeted analyses and operations in the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory with triple-quadrupole instruments.
• Provide training procedures for users to run targeted analyses and ensure OEHS safety requirements are met.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair triple-quadrupole mass spectrometers; promote LIC capabilities to broaden usage.
• Provide internal reports and maintain databases for usage, accounting, and surveys.
• Perform other related work as assigned.
