Are you passionate about aerospace engineering and aircraft performance? We're seeking Mass Properties Engineers to support the design, development, testing, and sustainment of next-generation aerospace platforms. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring aircraft weight, balance, and mass characteristics meet performance and mission requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
Analyze aircraft and component weight, balance, and mass properties.
Perform mass properties calculations and maintain weight and balance databases.
Support aircraft and component weighing activities.
Conduct testing, validation, and verification of mass properties data.
Develop technical documentation and engineering reports.
Partner with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support aircraft design and performance objectives.
Contribute to the development and sustainment of advanced aerospace systems.
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
2+ years of relevant engineering experience for Engineer II level OR 6+ years for Engineer III level.
Understanding of engineering fundamentals and design principles.
Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments.
Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline.
Experience with mass properties analysis tools.
Experience with Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools.
Knowledge of aerospace engineering principles, flight mechanics, model-based definition, or parametric design.
Aerospace, military, or Department of Defense experience.
Work on a high-visibility aerospace defense program.
Collaborate with experienced aerospace engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
Gain exposure to aircraft development, testing, and sustainment activities.
Contribute directly to the performance and mission readiness of advanced aircraft systems.
