Job summary

Xcel Energy invites motivated students to join our mass market delivery and channel management internship in Minnesota. You will support marketing campaigns, assist with forecasting, and help maintain program data and collateral while gaining exposure to vendors and trade channels.

The internship runs through summer with potential extension. Ideal candidates are enrolled in Business, Marketing, Economics, or Environmental Sciences programs, with strong Excel skills and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the analysis, planning and implementation for marketing campaigns, webinars and trainings.
• Track program and event participation, budgets and spend. Support forecasting activities.
• Assist with web updates, data maintenance for programs and trade, and updating applications and collateral.
• Participate in preparing information for the monthly close and reporting processes.
• Help resolve customer and trade service issues.

You will work with internal teams and have introductory level exposure to our vendors and trade. One opportunity will support the programs that provide incentives to customers and trade to take actions to change their energy use. The other role will work to support the trade and community channels that are leveraged to deliver these programs.Typical intern responsibilities may include but are not limited to:- Support the analysis, planning and implementation for marketing campaigns, webinars and trainings.- Track program and event participation, budgets and spend.
