Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a Field-based Mass Grading Foreman in the United States (Kentucky area) to lead mass grading and earthwork for utility-scale solar projects. The role supervises grading crews and heavy equipment operators, coordinating with Project Management, Survey, and QA/QC to deliver safe, efficient earthwork that meets project specifications.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in mass grading and earthwork operations.
• Ability to read and interpret complex grading plans and survey data.
• Proficiency using GPS machine control for field grading.
• Track production, quantities, and ensure SWPPP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple grading crews and coordinate with PM, Survey, QA/QC.
• supervise dozers, graders, excavators, scrapers, haul trucks, and other heavy equipment.
• Ensure work aligns with project schedules, plans, and quality standards.
• Maintain daily production reports, grade control, and field documentation.
• Train and mentor Foremen and Operators in earthwork best practices.
