Job summary

Buckeye Construction & Restoration is seeking an experienced Masonry Restoration Superintendent to lead field operations in Ohio-based projects. The role focuses on delivering high-quality restoration work safely, on schedule, and within budget, overseeing crews and coordinating resources.

The ideal candidate has substantial commercial masonry restoration experience, strong leadership, and the ability to interpret blueprints and restoration details while maintaining strict safety and quality

Qualifications

• Plan, allocate resources, manage production and coordinate people and equipment.
• Knowledge of restoration masonry materials, methods, equipment: brick, block, stone, mortar, concrete repair, waterproofing, sealants, façade restoration.
• Strong coordination, time management, listening, written and verbal communication, critical thinking, problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a crew of multiple employees, subcontractors, and daily jobsite operations.
• Monitor crew work for quality.
• Coordinate project schedules, manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and restoration details.
• Conducts regular tailgate safety meetings.
• Organizes, supervises, leads and trains employees to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframe.
• Enforces all company and client-required safety policies and procedures.
• Submits crew members’ timesheets into payroll by deadline.

We are seeking an experienced Masonry Restoration Superintendent to lead field operations and deliver high-quality restoration projects safely, on time, and within budget.

What you'll do

• Supervises a crew of multiple employees, subcontractors, and daily jobsite operations.
• Monitor crew work for quality.
• Coordinate project schedules, manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and restoration details.
• Conducts regular tailgate safety meetings.
• Organizes, supervises, leads and trains employees to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframe.
• Enforces all company and client-required safety policies and procedures.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements, including crewmember discipline and documentation.
• Submits crewmembers’ timesheets into payroll by deadline.

What we're looking for

• Basic knowledge of administration and management. Must be able to plan, allocate resources, manage production and coordinate people and equipment.
• Knowledge of restoration masonry materials, methods, and equipment, including brick, block, stone, mortar, concrete repair, waterproofing, sealants, and façade restoration techniques.
• Strong coordination, time management, active listening, oral and written expression and comprehension, critical thinking and reasoning skills.
• The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong—to recognize problems when they occur and to work toward the solution of those problems.
• Ability to exercise good judgment when carrying out duties and to maintain good working relationships with the public and fellow employees.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and restoration details.
• Advanced mechanical skills a plus.
• Proficient at using basic computer software such as Microsoft Office and Outlook

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school degree or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of commercial masonry restoration experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a Superintendent, General Foreman, or similar leadership role.
