Job summary

Lvi-Associates is seeking a Masonry Project Manager in Chicago to lead exterior restoration and masonry repair projects from award to closeout. You will coordinate with field teams, review plans, manage budgets, and maintain client relationships on high-profile façades across institutional, commercial, and historic structures.

The role requires strong PM experience, ability to read drawings and specifications, and a focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of PM experience in masonry/restoration/construction.
  • Experience managing projects from $500K to $20M+.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings, specifications, and restoration reports.
  • Knowledge of scheduling software and project management platforms.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple masonry and restoration projects simultaneously.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships.
  • Coordinate field operations with superintendents, foremen, and trade partners.
  • Review contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals.
  • Track project costs, change orders, and monthly forecasting.
  • Lead project meetings with owners, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
  • Procure materials and coordinate deliveries to job sites.
  • Support estimating and pre-construction teams during project handoff.
  • Manage project closeout documentation, punch lists, and final billing.

A well-established specialty restoration contractor is looking to add a Masonry Project Manager to its growing team. This company has a strong reputation for delivering complex façade restoration, masonry repair, waterproofing, and concrete rehabilitation projects across commercial, institutional, industrial, and historic structures.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional looking to manage high-profile exterior restoration projects from award through closeout while working alongside experienced operations and field teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple masonry and restoration projects simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of scheduling software and project management platforms.
  • Experience preparing and negotiating change orders.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
