Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mason in construction projects.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of construction materials and techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans.
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lay and align bricks, blocks, or stones to build walls or structures.
• Mix mortar or grout according to standard formulas.
• Cut or break bricks, stones, or blocks to the desired size.
• Spread mortar between joints using a trowel and smooth out the excess.
• Clean excess mortar from the surface of the completed structure.
• Repair damaged structures by replacing broken or missing bricks, stones, or blocks.
• Use hand and power tools such as hammers, chisels, saws and levels.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.

Job Overview
