Job summary

Mayday Manufacturing Co. is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to support our 2nd and 3rd shifts in Denton, TX. You will work on preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and process improvements to keep production running smoothly.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, proficient with basic math, and able to read drawings and work orders. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret basic documents such as work orders and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Able to perform mid-level math accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Learn ERP terminology and processing requirements for masking and masking removal.
• Interpret drawings and part lists.
• Understand process testing requirements.
• Read and interpret work orders, PO requirements, and specifications.
• Mask and demask parts using measuring tools.
• Complete paperwork accurately for work performed and follow Quality and Safety standards.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Learn and understand the terminology for the ERP system, processing specification requirements, masking, and masking removal techniques
• Learn and understand basic drawing interpretation skills as well as part lists
• Become familiar with process testing requirements
• Reading and interpreting documents such as work orders (job traveler), PO requirements, and specifications
• Mask and masking removal of parts using various types of measuring tools and tapes, dots, and plugs
• Fill out all paperwork correctly for work doneAdhere to company Quality and Safety standards, policies, and procedures alwaysTo meet the needs of our customers and colleagues, you are expected to be at your desk/station and ready to work at your designated start time

Competencies

• High level attention to detail and manual dexterity is required
• Ability to communicate in English verbally and written
• Perform mid-level math skills efficiently and accurately (including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Ability to solve practical process or procedural problems/issues
• Critical evaluation and thinking

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

• Must have an acceptable criminal history background check
• Must pass a drug test

Position Type And Expected Hours Of Work

• Full-time
• 2nd Shift – 3:00PM to 11:00PM (Monday thru Friday)
• 3rd Shift – 11:00pm to 7:00AM (Sunday thru Thursday)
• Monday through Friday occasional Saturdays as needed
• Some overtime may be required
