Job summary

Pioneer Metal Finishing in Union City, CA is hiring a Masker for the 2nd shift (1:00 PM - 9:30 PM, Monday–Friday). This hands-on general labor role involves applying masking, preparing materials, and following blueprints in a safety-focused manufacturing environment.

On-the-job training is provided, including first-shift training for the first 30 days. We welcome entry-level candidates and prefer a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates welcome; no prior manufacturing experience required.
• High school diploma preferred (not required).
• Ability to read and understand work orders and safety instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Masking parts according to customer specifications.
• Prepare raw material for masking (hand wipe, blowing out holes).
• Reference blueprints to determine masking requirements.
• Monitor inventory and assist in purchasing supplies as needed.
• Assist in inspecting product and report non-conformances.
• Document masking details on work orders and tickets.
• Package parts for transport to production areas.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and equipment.
• Follow safety regulations when handling hazardous materials.
