Pioneer Metal Finishing in Union City, CA is seeking a Masker for the 2nd shift (1:00 PM - 9:30 PM, Monday–Friday). This hands-on general labor role involves applying masking per customer specs, preparing materials, and maintaining a clean, safe work area in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates welcome; no manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and safety instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform masking methods based on customer product specifications.
• Prepare raw material for masking, including hand wiping and blowing out holes.
• Reference blueprints to assess masking requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and request purchases to meet production needs.
• Assist in inspection and report non-conformances.
• Record masking details on the job ticket and work order.
• Package parts to safely transport to production areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and comply with safety rules.
• Work with hazardous materials and chemicals safely.
• Support the team leader or supervisor with process improvements.
