Automotive Paint Masker

Description:As a member of the paint team, a Masker is tasked with various duties that assist in preparing a vehicle to be painted. It is preferred that a Maskerhavea basic understanding of automotive paintprincipalsand a basic knowledge of different paint products.

Essential Job Functions

• Prepare the vehicle beforepaintby masking off key areas of vehicle or part to protect from paint.
• Apply vinyl masks on vehicles or parts for different paint projects.
• Assist painters with final mask process and remove all tape and paper and plastic after vehicle or part is finished being painted.
