Summary

• This position perform scans using computed tomography to create a cross section of patient's internal organs for medical analysis. They also prepare and administer contrast agents to obtain some images. This position may work in various clinical environments, such as the hospital or diagnostic imaging centers. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. 3D images.
• This position works under the supervision of Director, ATL, Lead Technologist and physicians in Radiology and is employed by Mosaic Health System.

Duties

• Interpret a physician's instructions.
• Screen patients for safety.
• Explain CT procedures to patients.
• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Select software options and imaging parameters when adjusting a CT scanner.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• All required education is a minimum requirement. Higher levels of education are acceptable. Completion of Radiologic Technology program required.
• AART(R) - American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists, Registered or documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams with in 1 1/2 Years and BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Three (3) years experience in CT preferred.
