Job summary

Group 1 Honda Greenbelt is seeking an Automotive Technician / State Vehicle Inspector to join our service team. This role emphasizes vehicle safety, accuracy, and high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Applicants should have 3+ years of automotive technician experience, Maryland State Vehicle Inspector License, and a valid MD driver's license with a clean driving record. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive technician experience required.
• Must be available to work Monday through Saturday.
• Maryland State Vehicle Inspector License required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for emission compliance and regulations.
• Inspect truck accessories, air lines and electrical systems; report repairs.
• Drive vehicles to detect malfunctions and test components.
• Apply inspection stickers to compliant vehicles and rejection stickers to non-compliant ones.
• Prepare vehicle reports for owner follow-up actions.
