Independent Can Co in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Mechanic to repair and maintain production machinery and equipment on the can lines. The role emphasizes leadership in safe, high-performance operations and adherence to the company core values.

The position requires journeyman-level training or equivalent, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work overtime as needed. You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize line equipment while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman training or equivalent required.
• CPR/BLS and Lockout/Tagout training preferred.

Responsabilités

• Repair and maintain production machinery and equipment on can lines.
• Set up, adjust, repair, operate, and maintain line equipment within timeframes.
• Check quality and take corrective action on defective units.
• Recommend repairs or improvements to Equipment to Production Manager.
• Train operators and apprentices when needed.
• Complete QC forms and reports accurately.
• Other duties as assigned.
