Main Street Auto in Longwood, FL is hiring a General Tire and Lube Technician. Join a fast-paced shop focused on quality service and customer satisfaction. You will perform tire rotations, oil changes, wheel alignments, and basic inspections while maintaining records and following safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire rotations, installations, and repairs with precision and efficiency
• Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify potential issues or safety concerns
• Conduct wheel alignments and balance tires to promote even tread wear and vehicle stability
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, including parts used and time spent on each task
• Assist customers with tire recommendations, answering inquiries, and providing outstanding customer service
• Adhere to safety protocols in the shop

Requirements

• must be over the age of 18

• Previous experience as a tire and lube technician or similar role preferred

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to operate shop equipment and tools safely
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision
