Job summary

HOKALI is seeking an After School Enrichment Educator to supervise and engage students from TK through 8th grade, delivering safe, supportive, and stimulating after-school experiences.

You will plan and lead recreational activities, assist with homework, foster positive social interactions, and maintain accurate attendance records. The program runs Aug 13, 2026 to Jun 4, 2027, Monday–Friday afternoons, at $30 per hour, with online trainings required prior to start date.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• Ability to complete 3 hours of online training prior to start date (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR)
• Authorization to work in the US
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities

This role focuses on supervising and engaging students during after-school enrichment programming. It’s ideal for educators who enjoy a dynamic environment and are passionate about creating safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences.

In this role, you will:

• Supervise students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times
• Plan and lead engaging recreational activities
• Assist students with homework and academic support as needed
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork
• Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
• Organize and oversee snack time and outdoor play
• Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping spaces clean and safe

Schedule & Compensation

The program runs from August 13 2026 to June 4 2027, organized into 6 sessions (6/7 weeks each) aligned with the District School Calendar.
Schedule: Monday-Friday afternoons (3.5 hs each day)

Hourly Pay Rate: $30
