Job summary

HOKALI in California is seeking an After School Enrichment Educator to supervise TK-8th grade students and lead engaging activities after school.

You'll plan lessons, support homework, ensure safety, and foster positive social interactions in a dynamic environment with 3.5 hours daily, Monday through Friday, Aug 13, 2026 to Jun 4, 2027.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to complete 3 hours of online training prior to start date (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR).
• Authorization to work in the US.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

This role focuses on supervising and engaging students during after-school enrichment programming. It’s ideal for educators who enjoy a dynamic environment and are passionate about creating safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences.

In this role, you will:

• Supervise students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times
• Plan and lead engaging recreational activities
• Assist students with homework and academic support as needed
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork
• Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
• Organize and oversee snack time and outdoor play
• Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping spaces clean and safe

Schedule & Compensation

The program runs from August 13 2026 to June 4 2027, organized into 6 sessions (6/7 weeks each) aligned with the District School Calendar.
Schedule: Monday-Friday afternoons (3.5 hs each day)

Hourly Pay Rate: $30
