Job summary

HOKALI, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic Instructors for its after-school enrichment program. You will supervise students from TK through 8th grade, create a safe and engaging environment, and support learning with hands-on activities.

We provide structured lesson plans and a path for professional growth via the HOKALI Academy. The role runs August 13, 2026 to June 4, 2027, Monday–Friday afternoons, at $30 per hour, with fair compensation and opportunities to contribute your ideas.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.

This role focuses on supervising and engaging students during after-school enrichment programming. It’s ideal for educators who enjoy a dynamic environment and are passionate about creating safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences.

In this role, you will:

• Supervise students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times
• Plan and lead engaging recreational activities
• Assist students with homework and academic support as needed
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork
• Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
• Organize and oversee snack time and outdoor play
• Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping spaces clean and safe

Schedule & Compensation

The program runs from August 13 2026 to June 4 2027, organized into 6 sessions (6/7 weeks each) aligned with the District School Calendar.
Schedule: Monday-Friday afternoons (3.5 hs each day)

Hourly Pay Rate: $30

• 18+ years of age
• Ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training prior to the start date. (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR)
• Authorization to work in the US
