The Y in Central Maryland is seeking a Martial Instructor to teach all assigned Martial Arts classes under the Association guidelines, serving ages from preschool through adult. You will report to the Associate Executive Director of Sports and contribute to high-quality programs that reflect our mission.

• Black Belt or equivalent (Strongly preferred)
• First Aid and CPR certification required within 90 days of employment
• Experience working with kids.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate and explain basic Martial Arts skills to students.
• Work at the learning level of each class.
• Prepare teaching area with equipment and return it to storage after class.
• Work with individuals and groups to correct faults and progress their abilities.
• Keep class attendance records.
• Follow the designated curriculum and progression standards.

Experience working with kids

Teaching martial arts

Educación
