Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality’s Marriott Austin North in Round Rock is seeking an Engineer Supervisor to lead maintenance operations, supervise a skilled engineering team, and ensure guest comfort and safety across the property.

You will drive preventative maintenance, respond rapidly to issues, train staff, optimize energy use, and manage costs in a full-time on-site role at our Round Rock location.

Qualifications

• Lead operations of property systems, including maintenance and repairs.
• Train, schedule, and supervise engineering staff and promote safety.
• Manage Preventative Maintenance to keep rooms and spaces up to standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, repairs, and guest comfort while controlling costs.
• Inspire, train, and schedule the engineering team; lead safety inspections and drills.
• Implement and monitor Preventative Maintenance program for guest rooms and public areas.
• Manage energy usage and budgets; pursue smart purchasing for efficiency.
• Respond to guestroom requests and act as emergency contact for incidents.

• Maintenance Marvel: Bring our Preventative Maintenance program to life—making sure every guest room and public space sparkles and shines up to company standards.
• Resource & Energy Guru: Manage energy usage and spending with a keen eye—sticking to budgets, promoting conservation, and making smart purchasing choices for a greener, leaner operation.
• Go-To Problem Solver: Respond to guestroom requests at lightning speed and serve as the emergency contact for those unpredictable moments—ensuring guests and staff always have a hero to count on!

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance and high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
• May be required to work weekends, holidays, and be available for emergencies.
• Comply with certification requirements (Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, First Aid).
• Experience in training, supervising, and motivating staff.
• Ability to evaluate and spot check work of staff and contractors.
