Description

We are seeking licensed therapists who are passionate about providing long-term relationship solutions to couples and families in their community. If this describes you, we may have a fantastic opportunity for you as our marriage and family therapist. Responsibilities include guiding patients through crises, diagnosing psychological disorders, highlighting problematic patterns that need to be changed, improving communication, and assisting patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors. You must have current licensure as an LMFT (licensed marriage and family therapist) and 1-3 years of experience providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans for clients
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients with a variety of behavioral health concerns
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment goals and interventions
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Utilize evidence-based practices in clinical counseling and therapy techniques
  • Work with individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with special education needs
  • Provide behavioral therapy and interventions to promote positive behavior change
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field of mental health counseling
  • Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to pediatric clients
  • Deliver mental health services to families, couples, individuals, and children by employing solution-focused counseling techniques
  • Collaborate with community organizations and attend weekly clinical team meetings
  • Test, interview, observe, and hold discussion sessions with individuals, significant others, and family members to conduct intake and needs assessments
  • Document patient records accurately and thoroughly in accordance with facility and licensing standards
  • Engage in planning, implementation, and evaluation of therapeutic treatment programs for each patient
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Marital and Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • State licensure or certification as a Clinical Therapist
  • Experience working with couples and families is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of family systems techniques and interventions
  • Experience with addictions and/or trauma-informed care is a plus
  • Licensure in the state you reside as a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) or the equivalent is required
  • 1-3 years in a clinical setting counseling couples and families is required
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field; preference to those with a master’s degree
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, as well as outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, are needed
Compensation

$72,000 - $125,000 yearly
